Privacy
Short version: we count visits, we do not track people.
No cookies, no accounts
This site sets no cookie and asks for no login. There is nothing to sign into, and nothing that follows you from one visit to the next. That is also why you are not seeing a consent banner: there is no consent to collect.
What we measure
We use Umami, a privacy-focused audience measurement tool, to count page views and a few interactions — which filters get used, and when someone opens a venue’s map or an organiser’s page. It tells us which nights people are actually looking for. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile, and does not identify you.
What Umami records
For each page view: the page, the referring site, and coarse technical details such as browser, operating system, device type and country. Your IP address is used to derive the country and is not stored. There is no identifier that can be traced back to you, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
Search Console
We also use Google Search Console, which reports how the site performs in search results — impressions, clicks and queries, all aggregated. It requires no tracker on these pages.
Links out
Venue pages, maps and organisers’ accounts are on other people’s sites. Once you follow one of those links, their own rules apply, not ours.
